Ingredients & Directions
                
     1 c  Butter; softened*
   3/4 c  Sugar
     1    Egg
     2 c  Flour
     1 ts Vanilla
 Cream margarine and sugar; add egg. Stir in flour and mix well. Add
 vanilla. Drop by teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 untill
 lightly browned, about 8-10 minutes.
 NOTES : I used 1/2 butter and 1/2 margarine.  Mine come out drier than a
 traditional pound cake but they were delicious and had the taste of
 poundcake. I have also made these with mini chocolte chips in them. I just
 poured till I thought it looked good.
