1/2 c  Margarine
     1 c  Sugar
     2    Eggs, beaten
     2 tb Milk
     2 c  Flour
     1 ts Baking soda
     1 ts Vanilla
   1/2 ts Salt
     2 c  Chopped, peeled apples
          -(generous)
TOPPING
     4 tb Sugar
     2 tb Flour
     1 tb Butter, melted
     1 ts Cinnamon
 Cream together margarine and sugar. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and stir. Sift
 together dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients in small increments.
 Add apples; stir. Pour into greased loaf pan, sprinkle with topping.
 To make topping – Melt butter. Combine dry ingredients. Mix well with fork
 until crumbly. Bake bread at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until top is firm
 when pressed. Serves 8-10.
