Ingredients & Directions
                
     1 c  Shortening or butter
     2 c  Brown sugar
     3    Eggs
 3 1/2 c  Flour
     1 ts Baking powder
   1/2 ts Soda
 1 1/2 c  Chopped pecans
     1 pn Salt
 Cream together shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs and dry ingredients and
 mix well. Stir in pecans. Form into two rolls and wrap in waxed paper or
 plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. Slice and bake at 250 degrees until
 lightly browned.
