Ingredients & Directions
                
     2 c  Unbleached flour
 1 1/4 c  Brown sugar — packed
     2 ts Ginger
     2 ts Cinnamon
     1 ts Allspice
     1 ts Baking soda
   1/4 ts Salt
     1    Egg or egg white — whipped
   3/4 c  Margarine — softened
   1/4 c  Molasses
 Preheat oven at 350. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, ginger,
 cinnamon, allspice, baking soda,and salt. In another mixing bowl, combine
 egg, margarine, and molasses. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just
 until moistened. Cover and chill dough for 1 hour. Then, roll dough into 1″
 balls and place 2″ apart on unprepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or
 until golden brown.
