Ingredients & Directions
                
     1 qt Lukewarm Water                      2 ts Sugar
     1 pk Active Dry Yeast                    4 c  Flour
 Combine the ingredients in a large crock. Cover with a clean cloth.
 Let the mixture stand until it is light and slightly aged (about 2
 days). Note: The mixture will thin as it stands   add flour as
 needed. Always replace any of the starter you use with an equal
 amount of flour and water.
