1 c  Plus 1 Tablespoon. warm
          -water; about 80F
     2 tb Margarine; cut into 8 pieces
 1 1/2 ts Salt
     1 ts White vinegar
   1/2 c  Warm mashed potatoes
     3 c  Bread flour
     2 tb Nonfat dry milk
 1 1/2 tb Sugar
 1 1/2 tb Snipped fresh chives; or 1
          -tablespoon freeze-dried
          -chives
 1 3/4 ts Active dry yeast
~ for automatic breadmakers (Makes 1-1/2 lb. loaf)
 Select Basic or White Bread and regular or medium crust settings. Measure
 all room temperature ingredients into bread pan in the sequence listed, or
 as instructed in manual; position pan in automatic breadmaker. Press Start.
 When bread is done, remove immediately; cool on wire rack at least 15
 minutes before slicing.
