1/3 c  Sifted all-purpose flour
   1/2 ts Baking powder
   1/4 ts Salt
     1 c  Dates
   3/4 c  Nuts
     1 ts Grated lemon peel
     3    Egg yolks
   3/4 c  Sugar
     3    Egg whites
 Preheat oven to 325. Sift flour with baking powder & salt. Add dates, nuts
 & lemon peel. Toss well. Beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar until very thick
 & light. Fold in flour mixture. Beat egg whites & add remaining sugar. Fold
 flour mixture into egg whites until combined. Bake 50 minutes in 8×8-inch
 pan. Serve with whipped cream.
