2 C  Butter                              5 C  Flour
     1 C  Brown sugar                    
 Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.  Cream the butter and sugar.  Gradually add
 the flour. Roll out dough until it is about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into
 squares, or any other shape you desire. Bake on greased cookie sheet for
 20-30 minutes at 300 degrees F. The cookies are done just before they start
 turning brown.
NOTES:

* These cookies store well in cans.
