Ingredients & Directions
                
     2 c  Flour
   1/2 ts Baking soda
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/2 c  Shortening
     1 c  Honey
     1    Egg
   1/4 c  Sour milk
   3/4 c  Pecans; chopped
   3/4 c  Tart cherries; drain, chop
   3/4 c  Dates; cut up
   3/4 c  Dried cherries -=OR=- raisin
 Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Cream shortening and honey; add the
 egg, sour milk, and flour mix. Fold in nuts and fruits. Drop teaspoonfuls
 onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350~ for 15-18 minutes.
