Ingredients & Directions
                
 4 1/2 c  Flour
     2 ts Baking soda
     1 ts Salt
     1 lb Butter
   2/3 lb [Trader Joe’s] dark
          -chocolate
   1/3 c  Cocoa powder; optional
     2 ts Vanilla extract
     4    Eggs
     1    Bag semisweet chocolate
          -chips
Mix first 3 ingredients together.
 Melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Beat in vanilla Cool a bit Beat in
 eggs.
Add wet to dry ingredients. Mix promptly. Stir in chips.
 Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 9.5
 to 10 minutes in oven preheated to 375 degrees. Makes 6 dozen 3-inch
 cookies. Eat entire batch before they cool. Deny having made any.
